Illustrations created for Google (Google Design) for their Digital Backpack series. The illustrations highlighting Google UXers as they talk about their dream “digital escapes”. The best part of working on this project was having full control of what I was creating. There was a level of freedom and ease that comes with working on a project and they let you lead. Being given a lot of images to choose from, getting to ask for new or different ones that work better for me or I feel work better for that subject’s face, makes turnaround easier.

All of these were drawn with a regular mechanical pencil on smooth bristol paper, then edited (background removal) in Adobe Photoshop.
