When Indeed reached out to me for this project, I was overly excited. I’ve always referenced film and photography more often than I have other traditional forms of surface mediums and art. I also love working on projects that center BIPOC voices and visuals, and that is exactly what Indeed’s collaborative effort with Lena Waithe’s Hillman Grad production company does with Rising Voices.
The theme this year was about the ‘future of work’. I referenced images from the filmmakers social media pages to create these images. Medium is pencil, with graphics added after by the Indeed team.
